KACHIKWU DON DENY REPORTS OF POSSIBLE INCREASE OF FUEL PRICE.
Na During one closed-door meeting with President Buhari and the Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Alhaji Maikanti Baru for Abuja on
Monday,
the Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr Ibe Kachikwu deny media reports of the
intended increase of the prices of petroleum products within the country due to media
reports say Oil marketers dey plan to increase the prices of Petroleum products due
to the scarcity of foreign exchange to procure the necessary products wey dem need for their business.
Dr. Kachikwu yarn state House correspondents say no truth as dem ask dem if dey don see any memo to that effect. Alhaji Baru back up wetin Kachikwu yarn as he also deny say no single plan dey to increase petroleum products. Baru advise the correspondents to contact the Petroleum Product Pricing and Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) if dey need more information on the issue.
