One section of the palace of Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, for Iga Iduganran area of Lagos Island don catch fire .
PUNCH Metro reporter say the fire been start from one air conditioner for the apartment inside the palace con destroying furniture and other household items for the room. Dem gather say the incident start around 1.30 pm with smoke everywhere for the sky, wey con attract crowd go the area .
The palace gate was been dey locked against crowd as firefighters from the Lagos State Fire Service , Shari Iganmu and Ilupeju stations , battle to quench the fire.
One senior emergency official wey uarn to Punch correspondent on condition of anonymity confirm the incident but say the fire don quench now.
