The Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration and Prisons Board (CDFIPB), after dem meeting on Tuesday approve the regularisation of the dichotomy between holders of University degrees and Higher National Diploma (HND) for all the Services.
The meeting hold under the chairmanship of the Minister of Interior, Lt Gen. (Rtd) Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau. As e be now, the Board don direct say all officers with HND go dey upgraded to COMPASS 08, wet be the salary Grade Level for holders of Degree certificates for entry point.
While the HND holders go start with the Rank of Senior Inspector, the Degree holders dey the rank of Assistant Superintendent II. The Board still approve the commencement of the Year 2017 Promotion Exercise for all the Services with effect from 17th July, 2017.
