One Osun State High Court don grant bail to ex-Acting Vice Chancellor of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Prof. Anthony Elujoba wey dey presently stand trial for theft, him and the former bursar of the university,
Mrs. Aderonke Akeredolu, gain bail together for one ruling on Friday. To deliver the ruling, Justice David Oladimeji grant bail on self-recognition to Elujoba and the bursar gain bail of N50 million and two sureties.
No be small jubilation among the former VC supporters – mainly staff and students of the institution for the court premises.
Elujoba been dey prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for seven counts of say he steal money wey reach N1.4bn.
