NEWS: IGP don sacks four policemen onto bribe matter.

The Inspector General of Police , Ibrahim Idris don sack four policemen wey been dey attached to Ijebu- Ode Area Command for Ogun State .

The men dem dey guilty of collecting N50,000 from a man wey dey arrest.
The officers wey dey affected with the dismissal na Inspector Mufutau Olaosun, Sgt . Adebayo Temitope, Cpl . Bakare Taiwo and Cpl . Adesoye Ayokunlehin.
One statement by Assistant Commissioner of Police , Abayomi Sogunle , wey dey head the Police Public Complaints Rapid Response Unit say, 'the men were dismissed after they were found guilty in an Orderly Room trial at the Area Command Headquarters, Ijebu- Ode.They were charged with discreditable Conduct and Corrupt Practice under the First Schedule of Police Act and Regulations Cap. P 19 . Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004'.
The four men on 7 June , without any ground arrest one man wey just dey commot from bank, dey carry am go the Igbeba Station, na so dem labelled am as “yahoo boy ” dem give am frog jump and dem make am write one self -incriminating statement, say him na internet fraudster . After dey don maltreat am, dey release the man con collect the N 50,000 wey he go collect on behalf of him Oga, say na  payment for him bail. The man don lodge complaint with the Police Public Complaints Rapid Response Unit.
The police authorities see say the complain dey genuine and dem dey surprise say  policemen go take money for bail upon the #BailisFree campaign by the police themselves .

Dem don recover the money from the policemen and don return am back to the man.
