NEWS: Police don meet herbalists, arrest 87 ‘Badoo’ cultists, 20 dey wanted now.


The Lagos State Police Command on Friday say dem don arrest 87 suspected Badoo cult members and 20 don dey declared wanted to connection with the activities of the group inside Ikorodu.

The police say dey meet with herbalists inside Ikorodu area to try deal with the BADOO issue.
The Command Public Relations Officer, Olarinde Famous-Cole, yarn PREMIUM TIMES say the operation na joint operation with other security agencies and local security volunteers.
The police spokesperson say the suspects don dey under arrest for one all-night raid for dem hideouts inside Owutu and Odongunyan community of Ikorodu.

He say dem don declare some pipu wanted for cult related killings and dem be: Moshood, a.k.a Mosho; Alfa a.k.a King of Boys; Papa; Fela; Alakoto and Chukwudi.
He say the command still declare 14 others wanted for kidnapping for Ikorodu.
Their names na Agbara, O/C, Femi, a.k.a FM, Pencil, Odidan, Jaru, Allen, Bush, Happiness, Fagbo, Junior, Nuru and Jamiu.
”Before the operations, the police in conjunction with members of the Department of State Security Service, SSS, operatives of the Nigerian Army, Lagos Neighborhood Security Corps and Odua Peoples’ Congress, OPC met with herbalists in Ikorodu and its suburbs on the need to collaborate with the police to wipe out the cult group in Ikorodu,'” he yarn so
For the meeting, the Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, warn the herbalists and local vigilantes to stop jungle justice, warn say the command ‘would not tolerate further excesses from the security stakeholders.’
