The Kogi State Police command don confirm the gunmen attack for Tawari community wey 19 pooff and plenty burn burn yaga-yaga plus even the palace of the king of the community.
The gunmen aka baddooski wey dem suspect say dey be herdsmen burst enter the village with bikes aka okada, dem pooff and burn buildings until early momo of January 3 2020, reports dey say dey gbe food stuffs and dem ey yarn with hausa laguage.
Hon. Musa Tanko Mohammed, the administrator of Kogi local government confirm say na 19 persons pooff for the midnight invasion.
Kogi Police Commissioner, CP Ede Ayuba Ekpeji for one statement wey dey released on behalf of the police spokesperson DCP William Aya don say pele to the traditional ruler of Tawari, the whole community, the Kogi Local Government and Kogi State Government onto the gbegeski.
Ekpeji yarn say the special forces, Federal Anti-Robbery Squad, Counter Terrorism Unit, Police Mobile Force, plus the conventional Police don full ground yaga-yaga for the community to see say peace dey yonder.
He say;
” I have ordered the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Investigation to commence investigation so as to unravel the cause of the attack."
Governor Yahaya Bello don seriously condemn the attack, he still order beta investigation of the killings.
