Masked gunmen on Wednesday night attack the residential house of University of Jos Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sebastian Maimako, dem pooff him police aide and wounding two others.
The newly appointed VC been no dey the country at the time of attack wey occur at around 9pm last night along Eto'baba Road, for Jos North LGA and na stray bullet poof the Police Officer, as another stray bullets hit two security guards wey dey din dey recieve treatment for one undisclosed hospital.
The gunmen said dem wear mask, and dem run as dem sight more policemen wey get alert by the securities for enforcement. The Plateau State Police Command and the university authority say dem go soon release statement on the incident later, Daily Trust report so.
The VC wey just spend about one month for office been dey outside the country for official assignment for Canada, according to Plateau News.
