FG DON WITHDRAW THE FORGERY CHARGES AGAINST SARAKI AND EKWEREMADU.


 Federal Government don file the motion to withdraw the charge of criminal conspiracy and forgery of senate standing order against Senate President Bukola Saraki and him Deputy, Ike Ekweremadu.
The litigation officer from the Federal Ministry of Justice, Odubu Loveme, filed one affidavit in support of the motion before the High Court of Abuja.
Saraki and Ekweremadu, with former Clerk of the National Assembly, Salisu Maikasuwa, and one former Deputy clerk, Ben Efeturi, been on June 20th first dey arraigned before Justice Yusuf Halilu, on charges of forgery of the Senate standing order during the senate leadership election for June last year. They don plead not guilty on July 27, 2016. In the motion filed Thursday, Saraki and Ekweremadu don dey dropped from
the case while Maikasuwa and Efeturi go continue to face trial over the case.
