The workers dey vex too say dem no see the President or the Vice President for the event to address dem for the issues of survival wey dey affect dem. The workers dem reject all levels by dem leaders to calm down as dey Halla ‘No ! We need a new minimum wage .’
Dey say the N 18, 000 minimum wage no dey reach to feed dem families and to survive for the face of dis biting effects of the economic recesssion inside Naija. Gbege start when the workers gather for the front of the podium to listen to the Minister of Labour and Employment , Dr. Chris Ngige, but na the Acting Permanent Secretary of the ministry , Mrs . Abiola Bawa, wan come addtess dem, but the workers say dem no gree, becos Chris Ngige dey on sit even though na him dey represent the President. the people say make Chris Ngige address dem instead of the Acting Perm Sec to address them on him behalf. The workers dem vex wella as dem want make the Minister come address dem ontop the new minimum wage and when dem go begin get the increase.
