The Department of State Services don spend least N164.5m feeding ontop the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, The PUNCH reports.
El-Zakzaky been dey under arrest with the DSS since December 12, 2015 and he still dey the custody until December 2019 when Justice Gideon Kurada of a Kaduna State High Court order the agency to transfer the IMN leader and him wife, Zeenat, to the Nigerian Correctional Centre, Kaduna.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, been don yarn for November 2018 say the Federal Government dey spend total of N3.5m to feed the Shiite leader monthly.
Onto El-Zakzaky detention since December 12, 2015, the cost of feeding for the Shiite leader don reach a total of N164.5m for 47 months.
Meanawhila, Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el-Rufai, clear press say the money no be only for feeding the Shiite leader, but security too.
