Members of the House of Representatives don agree to donate the sum of N50,000 each to Team Nigeria athletes wey join bodi for the racent Rio 2016 Paralympic Games wey just end so. The House sef agree to host the athletes soon.
The House take the decision to make the donations wey total N18 million onto one motion wey dey sponsored by Ayo Omidiran (APC-Osun), say the members of Team Nigeria win 8 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals to finish for 17th place overall and dey worthy of celebration.
Omidiran yarn say members of the team, though physically-challenged, do wetin never happen in the history of Nigerian sports, dats why she say dey need the support and encouragement of the House.
