Enyeama retire from the Super Eagles last year after him and former coach, Sunday Oliseh go gree together, but ROHR wey be the new coach don make attempt to try arrange for the calling back of Vincent Enyeama since he take over, as he belive say the keeper still get games to help Nigeria play. “There have been several calls for him
(Enyeama) to return to the team, but he has
insisted and his decision should be respected
even if the manner at which he exited the
international scene was not a good one,”
Shorunmu told Completesportsnigeria. He
should be left alone! The same thing
happening now occurred to me when I
retired from international football. There
were calls from every quarters that I should
return but I stood my ground, to allow other
goalkeepers grow into the team.Maybe that’s
what Enyeama feels as well. The likes of
Ikeme, Daniel Akpeyi and Ikechukwu Ezenwa
must be given a chance.”
